I hate things like this.

I want readers to buy books because they want to read them. Because they sound interesting, and the first few pages hooks them.

I don’t want to be sitting here, asking you to buy my books, simply because life happened. But it did.

We’ve got a bug problem in our house. One that needs to be dealt with. Spent part of yesterday getting quotes. More coming today and next week.

Exterminators are expensive. With 1 kid in college and another just a year away (he’s entering his senior year), finances are already tight.

So, if you’ve ever thought about buying one or more of my books, I hope you’ll think about doing so today. Or tomorrow. Next week?

Because, yeah, bugs. Ewwww.
